I have a 2003 Dodge Dakota V6 140.000 miles with a p0303 code popping up.. now i have done all the basic tune up stuff they have suggested.. plugs wires cap .. this truck runs great down thr freeway but idles ruff , smells bad and when you turn sharp some times it dies.. now i used to reset the code and it would not come up for like 600 miles .. now its coming up in like 40 miles.. is there anyone on here that has any ideas or suggestions on whats going on .. i just can see taking it to the shop amd paying them $300 to tell me what it may be .. thanks

I changed the coil, the spark plugs as well as cap and rotor.. , it actually ran really good for a day then went back to the rough idle and p0303 code .. but thanks ..
I actually though it could be a faulty coil.. but this year only has one coil not the coil packs so i think it would be throwing other codes as well

Is the plug or plugs fouling?
No the plugs actually look good.. even the old ones i pulled out.. i am starting to think its possibly a electrical issue? Like i wire tgat is cracked or broken in the harness near the #3 cylinder or injector.. i pulled the injector lead off and there was a huge difference in the way it ran .. so i assume my injectors are fine.. so baffling..
