Alright guys/gals. I need a question answered and here is my situation.

I am getting ready to purchase a 2002 Ram 1500 Quad Cab. I just got rid of a 2001 Quad Cab. Here is my issue.

In my 01 my rear facing infant seat pushed up against either the driverside or passenger side front seat when snapped in. I had to pull my driver seat forward just enough for it to be almost not comfortable.

My concern is this on the 02 and question on the 02.

The I will run into the same problem as I did on the 01, and

is the room in the back of the 02 not bigger than the 01 (so is this even an issue?)

From what I have read, the 02's have more leg room in the back but does it also apply to the seating room? The pictures I have showing the back and front appear to have quite abit more room even with the front seats all the way back.

The truck is 2 hours away from me and I really like it but this is a concern for me. I have also a 19 month old who is in a forward facing but I know that this is not an issue.

Any comments?

Well I can tell you that in my 05 ram which is the same as the 02 the baby carrier for our 2 month old is pushed up against either of the the front seats in mine. It's a tight fit but we don't have any problems with it. Hope this helps some.

In our 06, the rear facing child seat would hit the seat back in front of it. We could move the seat up enough so that it didnt, and still be comfortable...

THANK YOU!!!!!

Plus, I was making this harder that it was. The owner sent me pics with a seat installed on the driver side, I was forgetting that I could put my 19 month old (forward facing) on the driver side and the rear facing on the passenger side since my wife is quite a bit shorter than I am and just move that seat up further. DUh!!!!!

But thanks for the info. :rck:
