In my opinion, factory radios are shit... and something is bound to go wrong with them eventually. Best advice to save you the headache, replace it with a decent aftermarket unit (personally I like the higher in the road pioneer units). I had the same problem in my intrepid (didnt have the disc changer or steering wheel controls), my cassette player would also randomly eject my sat radio/ipod cassette adapter. So I bought a real nice pioneer unit and im happy i did.

P.S. Dont be surprised if you start replacing more audio related equipment after you replace the head-unit, thats what I did and I slowly made my way to a $2500 system.
