i have a 98 durango that has a stutter type shift on light accel.
it does not do it all the time
it shifts fine on hard accel.
i have flushed the fluid and the problem still is there
i also adjusted the from band but still has the problem
i think it might be in the valve body but do not know how to determine

If it is really a 1-2 shift stutter,it is the governor pressure solenoid.

I am pretty sure it is the 2-3 upshift.
it seems to be very sensative to throttle pressure. meaning if you accelerate
fast it shifts ok. if accelerating very slow it is ok. light to medium accelleration
is when it acts up.
ps forgot to mention I added Lucas Trans additive but no help

When you flushed out the fluid what type fluid did you put back in? Was it ATF+3 or ATF+4? If you used anything else other then ATF+3 or+4 then you can get torque converter shutter as you described. Dodge's are sensitive to what fluid you run in them.

I used atf 4 in trans when it was flushed.
i noticed today that the 2-3 stutter is worse after driving 8 miles or more
