Trying to get my new steed in running order. bought in non-running but loved the idea of the truck. so i bought it (cheap) - now what to do??

advice givers(friends) have varied opions: one says 'keep it original'--one says 'we can drop in an import turbo'

The okie in me says get it running and enjoy. After cleaning, air then water then air. all parts look good. After 14 yrs under carport still had all fliuds but gas. pulled plugs, battery from my 65 f100, and motor turned over well, added 7gals gas, new plugs, dumped small amount in 2bbl. Started right up for 10sec. then died, after several atempts cann;t seem to get fuel to carb.. am going to try air blowing fuel lines, filter in tank? should i stay away from purge tank lines or do them all?

Holley certainly built quite the carb. in this one!!!

enough for now peace t l ranger
