Hello, I have a 97 2500 2wd with Dana 60, I just changed the rear brakes, wheel bearings and oil seals. I bought the truck 6months ago for $2200, no owners manual, Chilton manual is to broad. I need type and capacity, limited slip additive? I have not pulled cover yet but intend to change fluid while looking for sigbs of wear or damage. All of this was prompted by a sound like metal on metal when i hit the brakes. The rear brakes had plenty of pad left but everything was coated in a heavy layer of gearoiland grime. Changed pads to eliminate as possible source. Vent tube is clear of obstructions. Over sized tires on rear may have masked rear end noise.
