Hey all I just recently acquired an 87 dodge w150 with the 318 v8. it has some starting issues, when you turn the key to the starting position it gives you the clicking sound like the battery is dead. I replaced the battery and even tried jumping it, it still gives me the clicking sound. I think it might be the starter relay but I'm not sure if that will fix it. Also there are vacuum lines that are on the carb that are capped off or melted.... Is there a diagram or a set of decent pictures of all the vacuum lines so I can see where they all go?

Your starter is probably toast bro need to replace it. the clicking sound is the relay so unless the wire power wire and the solenoid wire from the relay to the starter broke your starter is bad. Also does your truck have the lean burn system on it? I removed the emissions equipment on mine now all i have is 3 vac. Hoses the big one to the brake. One small one to the distributor and one that runs the choke pull off on the carb.
