i am planning on buying a 1979 dodge dw200. its going to need some work but i have some questions one is it worth it to rebuild it or does it depend on what i like and were do i get body parts for the project cause it has some rust and needs a tailgate. thanks in advance

If you have the funds, patience, and time... save that beast from the crusher. They dont make trucks like these any more. New ones are all plastic and pretty much shit these days. I love my 79 W100. Dont get me wrong, I love my 05 1500 also but you can definitely tell the difference in the two. I use dodgeconnection.com and rockauto.com for most of my parts.
