I'm just wondering if 16" rims off a '99 1500 would fit my 2005 1500????
Nope they won't! They won't clear the brake calipers.

No. Dodge says the increased brake size on 3rd gen Rams will not allow use of anything smaller than a 17" rim.

Guess I should read the replies, before I answer. Oh well, lets call this a reinforcement of the answer above.

No, they're 17s as well.

The caliber can be ground down... a few have done this to clear 16.5's. However I have not heard of anyone clearing away as much needed to clear 16's.

I've seen one person with 16's on his truck, h777, and his were only the rears to run slicks

I've never seen 16's on the front, only 16.5's
