OK, I have done more than a few mods, and the truck now has 100K on it, still running great. Wondering if I need to change the Battery- never any problems but at 3.5 years and 100K..??...
I have done the serpentine belt at about 30K regularly, as well as the tranny, plugs, rear diff fluid.
Can't think of anything else right now.
any suggestons are welcome.
TIA

I've heard that batteries need replaced about every 5 years. Speaking of that, battery in mine has been in for over 5 I think.

If it was me I would do it to be safe. Mine went out at 82k.

If it is holding a charge, and will pass a load test, why would you replace it? Just want to spend money?
