I've been getting about 13.5 mpg HIGHWAY lately....

I checked my tire pressure on the new tires/rims I got from 4wheelcustoms.com.... (I didn't think to do that when I got them a couple weeks ago.. DUH).... pressure was between 30-35psi...

I increased pressure to 50psi per ratings on sidewall....

Went up to 15.1 mpg freeway :)

Ok, so how am I supposed to know what to set the air pressure at? And if I inflate them to the 50psi that's on the sidewall and they wear out faster than the 50k mile warranty, they should get replaced by Pro Comp, right?

I didn't think the ride was bad at all..

And as far as the recommended pressures based on the sticker in the door jamb.. I'm no longer running the stock rim/tire combo (the ugly 20's and silly tires that came on them).. so I don't know if the recommendation would be the same.. ?

Should I check with the guy at 4wheelcustoms who sold them to me?

Thanks

I just called Chris at 4wheelcustoms.com and he suggested 38-40 psi for the tires/wheels that I got from him.

Since I couldn't get a straight answer out of you guys ( ;) ) I figured I'd go to the source
