I just picked up these 20's off a new '08 Ram 1500. Now I just need to put some tires on them

Anyone got info on these wheels, such as backspacing, etc.... I know they are 20x9 and from reading threads here it looks like a 275 55 20 tire would work best with the stock suspension on my 2001.

I have 265 75 16's on it now, so the change will be minimal. Any opinions on tires ?

Backspacing I don't know, but that's found easily enough. Put a straightedge on the back of the rim and measure back to the center where it mounts, that's your backspacing. If your 265/75's don't rub then you should be able to run some 275/55's, they'll be around the same height, but a shade wider.

The tires I'm planning to buy will be Cooper H/T plus, in a 295/45 size. They'll be the same 30.5" height as my stock tires which were 245/75-16. I only want to go with a shorter stockish tire because my v6 five speed has a hard time getting these big dubs going, especially with the 3.21's in the back.
