I have a 2007 Dodge Ram with a hemi. It currently has around 1700 miles. I changed over to Amsoil at around 700 miles...right after that I installed a K&N Cold Air Intake, Flowmaster cat-back exhaust and a Edge Evolution Programmer. Once I took it from the dealership I noticed a slight ping...I figured it was because I wasn''t running a high enough octane so I set it back to stock until I could get a higher octane fuel. I am currently in Minnesota so I''m not sure if they are running an extreme lean winter mix or what...but I filled up with 89 Octane and also put in one bottle of STP fuel boost. However when put back on the economy mode I would notice a sligh ping under acceleration. It sounds like its coming from the front of the truck and not where the new exhaust was installed. Also my truck is equipped with MDS. I have also turned the tuner off and on stock however it still pings/knocks. I am going to be bringing the truck to texas (1300 miles) I don''t want to damage anything...
