Has anybody used the coil springs from a diesel dodge truck in the hemi powered truck? Would it give us hemi guys a lift? I have a free set from 2004.5 diesel truck. Not sure if its worth the time. Both trucks are 4x4 :)

i say if your doing it yourself give it a shot but then again im not for sure that it would be a wise choice. i know that i would not have a problem giving it a shot if all i had to do was put in the labor to do it.

You will not get any lift whatsoever. The Hemi and CTD springs are the exact same height since they are both 2500's, the CTD springs will just take a lot more to compress and will give you a lot stiffer of ride. The only thing is it might be good for is if you have a heavy front bumper sagging your springs, or if your springs were old and sagging but since it's a 06 it they will still be brand new.

It would give it a little lift since they would not be compressed at all just sitting there like the stock ones do, the ride would be horrible.
