Any word on when the 06's will be out? I have been trying for a year now to like the new Dakota, and I know a lot of
peeps like it, but I find it but ugly, and now all the other mid size except the Colorado out perform it in every catagory.

Mr. Dodge, we need some power out of that wimpy 4.7 V-8, some quality in the interiors, and a major face lift on the front end.

The Frontier and Tacoma are making us look back.

Hope the 06's address some of this stuff.

We are able to order '06 Dakotas right now......... the only major change is that the 4.7-liter H.O. is more available now and is the standard powerplant on Laramie models (I believe). Otherwise they are the same!

The H.O. V8 is not wimpy by any means........ it's the regular 4.7 that could use some help.

Oh well, maybe the 07's.

I know it's not really whimpy, it's just that you kinda hate getting dusted my a new 265 HP Nissan, or Taco V-6. There both quicker 0-60 and in the quarter mile. Chevy's 5 cylinder boat anchor is just that.
