Had a the MIL (dodge's term for "malfunction indicator light") come on.

Approx. 18,000 miles - no repairs except for this light coming on the day I got it.

Is there are a known way to clear this check engine light to see if it comes on again?

Go to your local O'Reilly's, Advanced Auto, or NAPA. Those stores usually keep a code puller that you can use for free.

pull the neg off your battery for about 10 min, rplace battery waire and its gone. but it comes back on... could be a sensor going out

I would have it checked before you just erase it...Advance does it for free.
