i have a 01 Stratus R/T, w/ the premium sound system (in-dash 4 disk changer) it sounds great and it plays CDs perfectly.
i am attempting to install a alpine head unit w/ an iPod interface adapter. im using the correct wiring harness and dash mount adapter to have it all work. here is my problem, i have everything plugged in and good to go. when the radio is on it sounds great, but every time i switch the stereo over to CD mode or iPod mode, i hear a small "pop" and then while the display says the CD or iPod is playing, there is no sound at all.
anyone have any ideas?
