My 2005 Ram SLT 5.7L column shifter moves from the park position down to R-N-D-1-2 as normal, but doesn't select or stay in any of the gears. Dash light remains on P and truck stays in park. Shifter can move freely amongst the gears but never selects any. Park works fine smh. Please help!!
