Truck was found abandoned behind a farmers barn in the Spring when he went out to work his fields. It was a work truck for a painter from what I could tell. It had brown paint spilled in the bed that had run down the tailgate and across the bumper. It also had NEVER been cleaned inside as far as I could tell. There was easily 1/8" thick dust/goo/smoke on every surface.

I paid $4000 for it and it only had 124k miles on it at the time. It wouldn't start so I towed it home. Some elbow grease to clean the inside and some fresh fuel with SeaFoam and new plugs/wires and air cleaner and it was running fine. Once on the road I didn't do much to it for several years. Tires, oil changes and eventually a new tranny. That was when I decided this truck was a keeper. If I put a tranny in it, I was keeping it forever!!! I now have over 232K miles on it and it's going strong as ever!

The original dash was cracked and literally falling apart. I just recently replaced the entire dash. I debated on "capping" it, but opted for the complete replacement due to the fact that several "chunks" had already fallen down inside the dash! Ugh!!!

While replacing the dash I also went with blue LED dash lights! Much improved look and I love the updated feel it gives the after hours driving! :)

I've had to repair the usual rust you find on Gen2 models. Some paint on the lower half to help hide any future rust etc.

All stock currently, but I've got some plans!!!

PlastiDipped the wheels. Easy and removable.
