Notice: Please Read !!!

I am STRONGLY SUGGESTING that someone with better computer skills than me PLEASE DO THIS---Buy the January 2012 issue of Four Wheeler Magazine---on page # 61, there is an indepth article about installing New Power Wagon axles on an older Dodge truck. It lists part #s, has pics of the locker plug & how to hardwire it & lists which wires do what & pics of it all. Can someone please copy the entire article from start to finish And all of the pics & post it in the FAQ/MODS section. This would be HUGELY beneficial to anyone with a Power Wagon who wants to hardwire thier lockers. Thank you. I don't know how to do it.

I don't think it's the cure for slow/stuboren engaugement, it's just a computer bypass, which is not a bad thing. But I would not like not having a locked indicator light for the rear axel.

Should be able to wire up some type of manual switch in the diff that you could use for a indication light. Replace the sensor and magnet with a micro switch of some type mounted in the same location. If you know how much the locker moves. You could get a switch with that much travel for off-on. You follow?

It would have to be able to withstand alot of heat and grease but could be done. 2 of the pins in the connection are to sense the position of the locker. You could technically still use those pins and wire to a 5 volt indication light possibly in the switch or separate near the switch. Like TrueCowboy426 said....I'll be doing this to mine if/when my lockers start to malfunction. Where was this thread a couple months ago Gunni? Prob could've saved yourself a couple G's doing this

The sense. as far as I could tell is just a basic low voltage reed switch. They say 5v due to the logic circuit the computer controller uses. and actually, it shouldn't take to long for me to come up with a new circuit/controller board to replace the one in the smartbar using the current controls. Just need the time.

hhhmmmmm.............swaybar disco at any speed.......hhhmmmmm.......
