I am in the process of installing a vacuum gauge on my 2000 ram. I was wondering were the best vacuum line would be to get the most accurate reading would on on a 5.2 motor.
Thanks
Chevy used to put them in cars as a mpg indicator. Easy around town & it showed high fuel economy.
Just like any other gauge they help you know when problems arise. I really wish all new cars came with a vac & a fuel pressure gauge. Both would really help you keep your car running at its peak.
I just put one on my 3/4 ton 99 4x4 and I "Teeded" it in to the front port at the bottom of the throttle body plate, you may have to modify the line some to make everything hook up right, I watch mine now and my MPH has went up from 10.9 to 11.7....Not bad for just watching and trying to keep the needle up as high as possible....
