hey guys, im looking at a used set of wheels to mount some either 36 or 37s onto. i have a 5.5" lift right now. based on your experience, what is the ideal wheel backspacing for that size of tire?
yeah i know 37s will be tight, but i dont mind throwin an inch or two body lift on the wheels im looking at have only a 3.5 inch backspacing. the wheels would be sticking out quite a ways huh? the only thing im worried about is the tires hitting when i turn.
Yeah, 3.5" of backspacing will get the wheels sticking out quite a ways. If they are 10" wide then I would almost guarantee some rubbing on the front fender when turning.
If you get some 8" wide wheels you will have much better luck clearing 37's with 5" of lift.
How wide are they if they are 12.50 then 4-5 right if more like 15" wide I would go 4" I am running 3" on 17" wide tires
