I priced some new 315x75r16 A/T's today, just for giggles. I figure I'll need new ones by summer anyways.

They had:

Delta A/T for 1000
Pro comp A/t 1100
Toyo Open Country A/T 1100
Nokian Vitira A/T 1100

Those are installed and balanced.

I've never heard of Delta or Nokian before.

Give me your opinions on these.

I have Firestone A/T's from tirerack.com and for the most part they are a good tire. They are quiet and smooth on the road, go good in snow and in the little mud I have gone in with them-But they are a soft tire and are wearing alot faster than I'd like. They have a 50,000 mile warrenty and I think I will be very lucky if I get 40,000 out of them- and the warrenty only applies to the factory size for the vehicle.

i have the nokian Vatiiva M/T and they are a pretty good tire. so far really good in the snow both on the pavement and off. i have never even seen the nokian a/t so i have no clue about them but as for as nokian tires go. i havent heard anything bad about them, well except they wear pretty quick.
