top end build checklist - did I forget anything?

looks like you have everything you will need the only suggestion i have would be roller rockers

maybe a timing chain tensioner??? not bad insurance for the $$$. we do have really long timing chains. you might want to invest in a wideband for SCT tuning.

1997 ram 2500 4x4- 2inch leveling kit & 3inch body lift. 305/70/16 goodyear ats.

engine specs-360 bored & stroked to 408ci. eagle crank and rods, ross racing forged pistons( 10 to 1 cr), all arp hardware, ported heads, custom grind cam, melling high volume oil pump, moroso 7 qt oil pan, M1, F&B 55mm tb,FMS 30lbs matched injectors,14x5 open air filter, msd ignition, Doug Thorley tri-y headers to true duals, 2800 stall converter.SCT tuned by hemifever!!

bigkuntry72 : thanks, I did forget about the exhaust aspect of things.
Not sure about the tensioner, one memeber on here ahd 250k miles and his chain didn't have much slack in it.
But the wideband would pay for itself as it costs me $50 a run at the dyno (to get O2 readouts).

maybe upgrade you head gaskets for the extra insurance too. Try a felpro 8001 or cometic mls from hughes they are well worth it and maybe some arp head studs too. maybe a meling high flow oil pump too just a thought.

dizzy bushing you wont need....cam keys either....cam comes with one iirc...cam has 4degree adv built in... install straight up so to speak....hardened p-rods arent need if you running the hs 1.7's ped mount's....with 1.7's that puts you at approx .544...will the spring's handle that...ditch the cloyes and find a JP PERFORMANCE set....imo much better timing set for little more cash....new head bolt's....hv oil pump will require a hardened pump shaft if you go that way....and a epoxy filled kegger

do those heads come with stainless valve's? imo not needed for the street....stainless is stronger but at higher temp's(wot racing)....at lower temp's (street cruzing)they will actually be weaker in strength....may beable to save some money....just a thought

i think you can get the mopar performance lifters cheaper than that through summit. like 120 or somethin.
