question on Hemi engine fan ?

I have a 04 Hemi Ram with 34K miles and Ive noticed the auxillary fan is always on , It doesnt seem to matter whether or not the motor is warmed up or cold..AC on or not. anybody else having that or does it need to go in to the dealer ?

I assume you mean the fan behind the condenser.. I don't know why it would be on if the AC isn't on.. I wouldn't think that there would be a need to help cool the refrigerant all the time. Good question.

If the fan control associated with the A/C or heater or defroster is on, the fan on the condenser canl run when the compressor is running. The compressor runs not just for A/C but anytime the cab fan control is on.

Thx guys, after doing a little more searching on this site and on my own,
I figured out that if the heater switch is on defrost whether or not the AC button is pushed and whether or not if the fan switch is on or off the AC fan will run.
You have to switch your control to one of the other modes other than defrost to have it turn off.
