It has happened to me. I drilled it out starting with a small bit going all the way up to about 1/2" maybe a little bigger. After that i fished a lock nut into the back and used a new bolt and washer.
Easy out didn't work for me. I had to cut the welded nut off with a grinder and use a punch to pop the remaining broken piece of bolt put of lower control arm. Then reweld a nut to control arm.
