Found My Build Sheet

While poking around under my 1974 D200 this past weekend I found a crumpled up sheet of paper stuffed into a crossmember under the cab. It turns out it is the build sheet. Didn't these usually go INSIDE the vehicle? My 1973 Coronet had it in the rear seat springs. Even though the truck's build sheet is mostly unreadable, I'm surprised it was even intact considering it was exposed to rain, slush, dirt, animals, etc.

That's pretty cool. When changing out the original seat I found what was left of the one from my '75 D100. I imagine somebody had reached up in there searching for something, felt paper and yanked it out. I found two corners behind one of the springs. It had the same pale blue print just like the one pictured.
