Ram 1500 hates freeways!

A little backstory for my 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 megacab 4x4 5.7HEMI...
A few months ago I got in my truck like any other day. drove around town with no problems. Got on the freeway and was doing about 70MPH... I hit a bump and the truck began shaking violently. It felt as if one of the shocks may have stopped working and the wheel was bouncing up and down violently, at lest that's what it felt like. I slowed down and it shaking seemed to subside. Next chance I had, I had the front shocks replaced. Drove around, everything felt ok until I got on the freeway. I was driving at freeway speeds and hit a bump and it starting shaking violently again. I slowed down and the shaking subsided... I figured that I was wrong about the front shocks and maybe the problem was in the rear. So, I had the rear shocks replaced. Again, I thought the problem was solved. Drove around and everything seemed OK. Got on the freeway, hit a bump and BOOM! Violent shaking!!! Obviously it's not the shocks. Trucks drives fine until I hit a bump at freeway speeds and feels as if it's going to fall apart! any ideas? Visual inspections looks good to me but I am not a mechanic by trade. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
