Cracked fuel tank 1988 W100

Hey all,
Long time inactive on this site. I will be getting my beloved 1988 W100 back from my kids soon. One of the things it wiil need is a new fuel tank or a way to repair a crack in it. The crack is about 8 inches long.

I know the after market for our trucks is pretty lean out there. LMC doesn't have one in their catalog. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Check your local junk yard. I have a spare from an 88 ramcharger but shipping wouldn’t be pretty

to be pondered...If the tank is pressurizing repeatedly and the expansion and contraction is causing a crack that big, your carbon canister system is not venting properly and in short order the next tank will do the same. signed ,been there done that.
