I pulled this code, p0430. I have read all the stuff that it could be. The cat, leak, or o2. Truck feels just fine, so I am gona rule out cat. I do not hear any leaks. Witch o2 is it? up, down? Hell I dont know how mean I have on the 3.7?
THANKS
You should have 4 O2 sensors, unfortunately w/o a code pointing to a specific one there is no way to know for sure. Have you tried resetting it to see if it will give you an O2 sensor code? You should have 2 mini-cats, one for each bank w/ a sensor before and after each mini-cat.
I'm pretty sure that's rear right O2 throwing the code (passenger side, post-cat). Whether or not it's the sensor itself causing the problem, or the catalytic converter complaining is another story. You can throw a voltmeter on it and see what it's reading.
The light came on, on the way to work. I cleared the code by disconnecting the battery. So far after the drive home no light, yet anyway. I did just get gas the day before. Wonder if bad gas?
