Not really but the breeze died down a little, I had a 10.03 dial on the window the round before and should have left it, but thought it would slow up 1. I either should have left the 03 or lifted/braked a little more as I had room.

I was just curious if maybe there was a drop in air temp or a humidity change that affected your ET. I know here in the south we have that problem. A slight humidity change will have major effects to our et's. As the night goes on and the temp starts dropping our time drop and we run faster and many guys breakout because of it. We have to be on the brakes quick to keep it from happening.

The temp didn`t change much but it was my first run in the left lane and my 60ft was one better which could have something to do with it. I only race at the track once a year during the Chryslers at Carlisle event so I`m not real familar with the track/ weather conditions there. I was pretty happy to get to the Semis in Trophy after being runnerup in Street last year at the same event. I`ve done pretty well racing my truck at Mopar events back in May I won Trophy at the Mopars at ETown event. I know at my local track were I race my Dart in the summer its hot/warm during the day, cools in the evening for an hour or so then the humidity sets in.

That's the way it is here. We start out with humid hot day but as night comes it will cool down at least 10 degrees and sometimes a little less humid. It really effects the ones that don't race often or have not run this track. Most of us have learned to handle it. One guy was breaking out every time as the temp dropped. I finally told him what was going on and now he has learned to back peddle a little as the night cools down.

I run a 10.50 car slowed down to run 11.50s with a mechanical throttle stop, the class I run you can`t go faster than 11.50, I`m set up to run 11.48 to 11.52 with a dial of 11.50 so I`m pedaling most of the time as I`m the fastest car and playing catch up most of the time. Two weeks ago I dialed 11.50 and thru 5 rounds of eliminations went an 11.50 with an 8 and four 11.51s in a row.

Dart those are some times to be proud of. I try to keep it consistent. I am running 12.23. But I am hoping to get mine down to a consistent 10.00. Of course I am running a stock 318 magnum with shorty headers and the exhaust is not tuned at all. Just regular duals. I am either going to an H pipe or an X pipe.

I just got my '91 painted. I'm on the fence about finishing the paint the way I want it or selling the truck and getting another project.

Wait, you guys are only running 11-12's in the 1/8 mile? I ran a 10 flat in my '72 w/ a stock 318 2bbl, headers and duals, and a floor-shifted 3-spd

Just bought this 87 Ram....318, auto, almost no rust except over left rear wheel well. Already removed the camper, changed all the fluids, and found a matching set of hubcaps...ha. There was not radio so I installed an old Alpine I had lying around...works super.

Runs super, vell maintained, always garaged, like new interior. Shows 42,000 on the odometer, and I assume it is 142K but not 242K or more

All for $1100....great truck for the money!!!
