I'm an old mopar guy from way back. Back in the day I had a bunch of b,a,and f,bodies. Been workin on bikes for years but I couldn't pass this thing up. Got her from the original owner with 137,xxx miles. Gonna lower it next week. 1st thing I did was remove the full wheel grandpa hubcaps and put 3 inch duel exhaust (flowtech raptors) under it. I had those dog dishes laying around from a dart I used to have.

That thing looks great. Most of those pickups are rusted over.

Yesitsa, the front was lowered 2" with springs I purchased from Mid America Customes. As for the rear, I simply redrilled the exisitng shackes to attach the leaf at a higher point. Thanks!!

Yesitsa, I'll try to get a pic posted at some point, but basically, I took the existing shackle and redrilled it so the leaf mounting point is closer to the shackle mount on the frame. For example, if the standard shackle is 5" long with holes drilled through roughly 3/4" from either end, then I simply closed the distance by redrilling the leaf contact point so the overall distance is let's say 3" from leaf point to frame point, thereby dropping the rear 2". Simple!!

Brandon, You know, that's a very valid point!! It does look entirely different!! I did buy it from Mid America Customs. I wonder if he accidently shipped me the wrong one, since I did have a hell of a time getting it to line up. I never even thought about that. Now you have me wondering, especially since in the box were 2 small block Chevy chrome fuel pump block off plates!! Huh? I may have to give them a call!!
