I have an 88 2wd and want to buy wheels from jegs.com. My dad had a set of american racing wheels that got rusty in about a year. What are the good/ bad finishes on rims? Also, is the rear spacing an important thing to consider?
Thanks a lot! : )
It depends on the manufacture. For example. I have a set of wheels that I bought for $844 that lasted for a year, Then I bought the same material rims but paid $2,700. Guess which ones lasted longer?
Next...How much can you afford?
clear coated wheels look better longer. wax wheels monthly front and back. brake dust is brutal on wheels. i found wheel wax, thats the name, stops brake dust from sticking to my wheels, and dust washes right off.
