I believe the 5.7 Hemi's are all the same in the model years. They actually make a high output hemi, the 6.1 that is only available in the SRT8 cars and not available in the Ram
They better do something with the current Hemi, because come Spring, it - along with the other gas motors in the half tons - are going to get their ass kicked by the 5.7L from Toyota.
I would never buy a Toyota, but a 380 hp/401 ft/lbs of torque motor matted to a 6 speed automatic sounds nice.
GMC and Chebby came out with their new trucks with 367hp i believe... so thats 3 that can take the 345hp hemi... and the newly improved TITAN is pushin 317 now i believe... but at LOWER rpms... would DEFINALY give the hemi a run for its money... i agree... its time for an srt8 ram in the 6.1 :rck: :rck:
