Hi there ppl. I have a 2004 Hemi Sport QC 4x4. 34k miles with no problem. Since I’m coming up on my 3 years 36k warranty, I was wondering if should by Chryslers extended warranty for $1820 for 5 years or 100k miles. Thank you.
The extended warranties are good money makers for the dealerships. That said, think of it as an insurance policy. You probably won't need it, but one major malfunction and it pays for itself in spades.
Up to you. You'll probably get wide ranging opinions, and the only one that is right is how you feel and if it helps you sleep at night.
You know I didn't believe it them either until the electric fuel pump went out in my wife's Mazda at 38,000. (of course the warranty expired at 36,000) That sucker is in the fuel tank. You would gag on what they charged for that. That warranty will cover stuff like a/c compressor, computer etc that isn't part of the 7/70. Might be worth it. It's definitely a gamble.
