I went to the Home & Garden Show in Fresno yesterday and while I was parking, I happened to find this sweet Mega Cab. It was debadged, so I don't know if it was a 1500 or 2500. It was an SLT with the Hemi in it. Anyways, I thought it looked awesome, so here's a few picts of the beast. The pictures just don't do it just though.
Dude your $0.02 is gold. Those wheels/tires look so out of place on that truck, that you don't even notice the crappy emblem location.
Sorry guys, I still don't like the '06. I guess I didn't really like 3rd gen back in 02 when they came out, so I guess it will grow on me eventually.
So, jmbones. I have a side shot of my truck in my gallery. If possible could you photoshop a chrome roll bar on it for me? I'm thinking about addding a roll bar, and think it would be really cool if I could see it before actually spending the money. You just posted the most realistic photochops I've ever seen. Especially the lowered one. That looks like a real pic. WOW. Anyway. I don't want to hijack this thread so, if you do it, you can PM me with it. Or just post it here anyway. If you don't have the time, I completely understand. That looks very time consuming.
OK sorry about that guys. That truck isn't bad, but I prefer Reg cabs with a lift. They just look stockier. I think the QC looks better low (and I'm not usually a fan of lowered trucks).

personally i think it looks a ton better than a 15" im and HUGE tire.
odds are that rig is a street queen, so why not parade around in it? if it was an off road beast then maybe i would think different.
Styles are changing, sometimes you need to just say goodbye to the grandpa style. I mean you dont wear your pants up around your nipples do you? then why would you not go with the style and "go big" thats what the style is now with vehicles.
havent you heard the song "Real Big" by Manny Fresh? oh sorry for you old folks in the back let me speak LOUDER
I just dont think they are functional. How can you seriously off road if you have big ass rims. I would be too afraid of rocks smashing into them. I say the largest rim I think is ok is a 20" with 37s. Other than that, 18s are the biggest I would prefer. You cant even air down with those big ass wheels. You would be riding on rims evertime you wanted to crawl up something big.
no, I wouldn't put 22's and 35's on my TJ to go and tackle moab, but I don't see any of you guys converting your brakes to allow you to run 15's, because your rock climbing forays are hindered by 17's either, so why argue the practicality of something that's not going to happen?

Love your ride chauncy, but smaller rims with a bigger tire give the tire more flex, which is better for off-road. Plus I would not want to take nice wheels like yours flying through a desert fire-road at 65 for fear of what they might look like after continuous beating of that sort. But on the other hand if I had a truck as nice as yours I would definitely put some nice looking "bling" down there
i want your damn 20s Chauncy - stop avoiding the inevitable!!!
