if you got power at all you fuses your ignition switch and fusible links are most likely fine and do not need to be replaced.

Try the parts on the vehicle you swapped them with earlier, if they all work then the problem is in the wiring of the truck or SCC. (You could pull the distributor out after confirming # 1 position and key on to run and spin it around and se if the coil sparks to ground. It should spark a 1/2" gap.)
Is there any possability that varments chewed thru a wire? They seen this happen and somtimes the are very clean on there bites taking just a jaw width out, usually they go for insulation.

I got a new coil I'm getting ready to put on. The SCC is new, but I've had bad luck with dodge parts from advance before so it could be bad. How do I test it? I've gone over all the wires under the hood and I haven't found any broken. Does this truck have any sensors like crank or cam position that could cause it?

Only the pickup in the distributor. (I can see why most toss the SCC and revert to conventional electronic ignition.
Which part do you need to test?

I got the new coil and plugs in and still nothing. I wonder if the comp I got is bad? I can't test it since the only schematics I can find are for the comp on the air cleaner with one plug. I have the comp in the fender with 2 plugs and a vac line so none of those will do me any good.

I finally gave up and took it to the shop yesterday. The shop owner worked for dodge for 20 years so he should be able to figure it out fairly easily. So far he's decided that the comp isn't letting the coil get a ground but he hasn't found out why yet. He was going to the dealer to get the factory manual for it today so I should know something soon.

Well this thing has managed to stump everyone now. Even a master mech with 20 years working for dodge is stumped! After a week with it, he finally gave up and agreed to scrap the comp and convert it so I hit the boneyards today. I managed to find a 4 pin mod with 2 pin res from an 83 van. The module was trashed, but luckily I nabbed the resistor since the parts store can't get one. They did return the comp and swapped me for a vac adv dist though, so all that's left is to wire it up. If it works (which there's no reason it shouldn't) I should have my truck by the end of the week. Once I get it back I'll try to get some pics of the truck up here as well as of the conversion for anyone else with this nightmare of a system.

Should have my truck back tomorrow. The mech said he should have it in the shop this afternoon or tomorrow morning at the latest.
