Yup, someone did mention the diesel forum slowing down last year. Also keep in mind, it's winter, people aren't doing as much right now. I notice in the summers the threads pick up.

Could also be that people are starting to catch on to the search function. So not as many new posts?

And yeah, CJ was AWOL for a little bit....

I'll be making a thread when I update my truck. Just waiting on my mom. Her nissan morono has a antifreeze leak and we have to take it in so she will be driving my car. Once its back and I have the car back im gonna park the truck for a while and got to work.

List so far is,
Lower it some....Insulate interior more, carpet the sub box, re-do some amp wiring, install some lights in the bed and in tool box, install my water meth, advance the timing on the pump (mechanically), PS pump seals.

Things im considering.
3rd gen steering gear box, third gen rear bumper, track bars, and a few suspension parts for some better handling....

We'll see.

CJ, just wait and see Got a few tricks up the sleave...

Madmikeismad, the suspension parts im wanting to put on are nothing I cant do in the driveway in a couple hours. You read trailer life?

And Clunk I couln't agree more. I want to just go crazy with dropping but I got this big ol oil pan in the way.... Im gonna remove the coil spacers, blocks, overload spring amd maybe a leaf and add air bags for towing. I know I'll want to go lower but I cant find coils for lowering one. There is a company in Houston here that makes coil springs, never been in there but its worth a shot.

Im a sucker for a clean, shaved, lowered, and well kept truck. No moldings, handles, or anything. Dont need big blingy rims, just something to get the job done.

I saw a forest green 3rd gen maybe three years ago in houston at a car show at Stubs that was lowered. I thought it was a 2wd, it had a front axle and I couldnt believe it. Btch ran 12s at the time, I sure wish I could see it again.

Yea but that was just for the picture, if you read down the page a little he said it raises higher than a stock 4x.... It looks good but not great, the dually fenders takes away form it. Paint aint my style, its just not what I would want..
