Plug wires?

Having problems with my wires arcing across to things, giving me a cel code of multiple cylinder misfire. Want to upgrade wires a little, thinking about the checker nascar wires, also a loom kit.Any ideas or a reason that code would pop up? thanks

don't know what code number pops up but if the truck is missing that will cause a code to come up.

You mean spark is jumping from the wire to other parts under the hood? Your insulation might just be split somewhere. Get new, or better wires.

I don't know much about brands, but pretty much anything will probably be better than the ones you have on it now, even oem.

i have msd 8.5 mil. love em. yea i'm looking for wire guide ideas also. the second to last wire on both sides should route over the valve covers infront of the breathers and straight to the cylinder. only cross those wires over others at right angles. all others can go parallel as oe.

I've been running Taylor SpiroPro 8mm with no problems. Less cost than OEM wires!
