i had the Innova scanner from NAPA, worked on my 04.5 cummins, worked on my fathers 06 silverado. when you plug it into this truck it waits for about 3 mins and says, cannot connect to vehicle(doin the key trick produces a No Bus on the odometer) the 920 921 999 codes are cluster codes for the dash cluster. ill be pulling it out to have a look behind the dash. as far as givin the LP power, wouldnt i have to power IP also?

You got something there.
Sometimes a No Bus means there is a ground issue like the grounding behind the driver's side kick panel.

The Wait to Start light won't come on until the outside temperature sensor sees 52F.

my 04 light comes on all the time, regardless of outside temp. the light use to come on everytime before...i put 12v the the LP and got nothing out of the pump, no noise or anything. pinned out the plug for the LP and checked if i had power at all to the plug. during crank and on position i get 1v maybe. if the LP was bad wouldnt unplugging it make the ASD relay quit f*cking clicking? either way its headed to the dealership monday, ive done all i can to figure it out, time for a tech to get paid to do it. least its not a ford pulling it!!

No Bus... I got that when I unplugged that big ass connector under my dash. After clearing the PCM it went away. Too bad it cant be started without electronics. I wanna know if the dealers scanner works on it if you say yours wont but it did on tow other trucks. They might be like, uh, sir we cant work on this truck cause it wont tell us whats wrong....

Bring it to me, ill fix it!

well i have great news and bad news, the great news is the truck you guys have been helping with is running....lift pump was bad, which i did find out before we hauled to dealership, also a 12v power to ECM was broken/corroded. so 520 bucks later its all cool. some how i missed the 12v power problem, i pinned the + side out on the ECM plug and got all i needed. for the bad news, i pay for xrays and a cat scan and the cocks cant release the images to me. WTF!!! im greatly disappointed
