Engine Squeak

Hey guys,
I have an 01 with the 5.9 and when I get on her pretty good I get this high pitched squeak I guess I would call it. Could this just be the belt or possibly the tensioner? Thanks in advance.

You can check the tensioner pulley to see if there is any play by removing the belt and trying to wobble it around. If there is play then that's your culprit. If your belt has signs of streak marks or any small cracks it should be replaced anyway. There are a few different belt manufacturers to choose from.

One other thing to check is the water pump. I had the same problem out of my 5.2 and I changed the belt, the tensioner and any other pulley I could. It ended up being the water pump. So if the belt and tensioner dosent work check out the WP.
