WOW! That all? Again, if a Moapr one will work, $250 or so is more affordable than nearly $600. Sorry, OZ, but spending what I have so far, I can't justify that cost on top of it. Tha'ts why I was looking for an alternative to hemifever's $592 SCT tune.

I will probably just put the roller timing gearset and rockers on, and call it a day. So much for competing with a HEMI! Just hoping to wake the Magnum up, not blow everything on the track away. The cam will show up in a couple days, but if it won't do me any good to have it without another $600+ for MORE upgrades to the PCM to make it work, I won't put it in.

I was taking somone elses advice and adding the cam since I'll be in the engine anyway. I'll get another PCM if it will do what I hope it will, but I won't spend anymore to upgrade my current PCM just to make a cam work. Just not worth that much trouble or money.

Thanks for the offer, though!

Don't get the MP PCM just stick with the Hypertech, install the cam. It will not do any harm.

It will be better with the cam for sure with the hypertech.

Like I said the tune can be an after though, a year down the road.

Don't install the injectors until you get a tune. But, really you don't need the injectors unless you are going with a blower.

Replace the timing chain install the cam and rockers. Run the truck with the hypertech tuner, play with the different settings to see which is best.

The cam will not make you loose power you will still see improvement in HP. There are several people out there running untuned. Do a search on google for untuned.

No need for depression...The cam is a good idea for this year. Then next year your next mod will be a tune.

Well I appreciate all that, OZ... REALLY DO! I'll take your advice and run how it is. Again, I didn't want the cam to begin with, just higher ratio rockers. Then, I was told to just put in a cam, so I went that route. After getting the cam, and before it gets ere, I find out I need an upgrade in PCM. WOW! This was only just to refresh an old 360, and get a little more pickup in the process.

But as I said, and I'll tall ya again... THANKS, Man! You ROCK!

What do you have done to the motor? Stock head gaskets will blow out at 10psi. If high mileage or if you have had any detonation in the past, probably wont take more than 8psi.
Stock motor with upgraded headgaskets, 15psi boost, probably be good with those 39lb inj. but may need to change out the injector electrical connecters & you must have an SCT tuner. Otherwise you have to go with a stock injector & run inline pump, fmu & have high fuel pressure. If you have a SC or Hypertech you would also need a btm to pull timing.

As of right now my motor is stock but i just order forged crank, connecting rods, pistons. from summitracing.com and i just rebuilt the tranny. i got the inline fuel pump already as for tuning i got a sct scanner and im getting it dyno tuned. you's think 39lb injectors can handle 450RWHP ??

If I remember correct the 500hp Cobra 39lb inj is based on 40lb fuel pressure but we have more like 47-49psi. Should support about 550hp approx with our fuel system. I would expect 15psi on stock motor to be in the 400-410rwhp range. For that you should be fine. Depending on what you ordered (stroker?) cant say without more details on if the 39lb inj will support it or not.

If your sticking with stock tb, intake, cam and heads then those cobra inj should be fine. Are you getting hemifever to do the tune on the the sct?
