question about something??

how do u check the codes, i know its something with turning the key on and off.
i have a bad shake around 1800 RPM when i give it the power everything shakes very bad. when im in like 4th speed it seems like it worse. i hope its not my tranny or a torque convertor. i have 135,000 miles on it. also when im driving my truck up on the top where outside temp is every now and again there is a "Ccd" that shows up there. Does anyone know what it means.

On the 2000 and newer, turn the keyswitch On-Off-On-Off-On then look at your odometer.
On the 1999 and older, you'll need to get it scanned.
Most chain type auto parts stores will scan for free in hopes you'll buy parts from them....kind of a cool trade.

I'll do some checking on the CCD on your overhead display.
