The few things i do to the V10 when you get the money is a 180stat. really help mine out. the other thing is put a full exhust on it. mine is doug triy headers into duel 3inch magnaflow cats [ca ] and duel 3 magnaflow muffflers... the sound is a very low rumble. not of the odd sounds people are use to. i know i have ran flowmaster and others. this system is the best sounding by far. people are always telling me how good it sounds. and i can get about 15mpg with 4.10s in the back. so not great but thats up from 10 from stock.

this is idle with driver window down. Im haveing a hard time getting the sound recorder to pick up much more then that. the sound recorder to senstive ill try to get a friend to stand on the side walk and do a nice drive by see if that works.
but from this u can hear its got rumble.

That sounds good. I think mine is a little louder but doesn't have a rumble like yours. Once I'm over 2,200 rpm it sounds like crap but is very loud.
If you could get a drive by that would be awesome.

so i have a clip where my friend close the door then walk about 20 yards away. u cant really hear a change in the truck. when i take off from stop it still max out the recorder thus the fart sound but you can hear once im not right there the fart goes away and you hear a rumble again. it was not a wide open take off. about half.
second clip was start little rev then off. may help. sorry again the sound recorder is having a hard time keeping up. thats what i get for useing my phone.

this system is loud becase its a very low tone.(hear and feel farther way) a flowmaster was much louder becase of the higher tone(can hear but sounds worst.). i know being the flowmaster was what i had before.
a good cheap muffler is the summit "trubo" looking muffler. i think they where $15
