Thumbs down lifter noise??

my truck has this ticking that is reallly pi$$ing me off! sounds like lifter noise but not sure. It increases with rpm. If it is lifters, is it hard to fix? any pointers or suggestions would be nice!

I have a slight lifter noise, but only at idle. Sounds like a diesel actually. Goes away at anything above idle to ~900 rpm.

As for your problem. Lifter noise is usually not cheap, maybe easy, may not. May need to replace lifters, rollers, or even valve, depending on what got damaged. Wont know unless you take teh valve covers off, adn really look into .
