Question about tire rub.

I have a 1997 2500 CTD 4X4. I put on 16x10 Mickey Thompson Classic lock wheels and 315/75/16 for rubber.

Tires rubbed, so I got the Top Gun 2 inch leveling kit, 2 inch spacers, but still the tires when I turn either way, rubbing the back of the fender wells. Is there anyway to fix this without having to put a lift on the truck? I can drive the truck just can't make any hard turns.

Thanks in advance.

Why such a wide rim with those tires they are 12.50? Also what back spacing are you running.

I think they are 12.40 wide, when converted over using the tire calc. Dunno about using the 10 inch wide rims, that is what the guy recommended and I went with it. As for the backspacing I have no idea, how do I find this out?

The two inch spacer pulls your axle back a little bit. If you don't want to lift anymore some adjustable control arms should help to push the axle forward.

Wrong wheel. Too wide, wrong offset, or both. The tires should fit for sure with the 2" leveling and correct wheels.
