HEMI in a 2nd Gen?

does anybody know if anyone has dropped a new HEMI in a 2nd Gen yet?

98 RAM 4X4 440 big block

I don't think you can buy them yet, unless you want to get one from the junkyard, and I bet there aren't to many of those yet.

I agree. Dodge is having trouble filling orders for new trucks right now. So I doubt they will be available in crate form any time soon.

Hey you could always get a 03' and do a swap!

you would probably have to do some fabricating

I bet the engine would fit in the engine bay with no problems, but I don't know if the Hemi engine will match the transmission you have .. so you may have to buy both and engine and a tranny ....

plus the computer (I dont know if the harness is any different either)

then the next thing will be the motor (and possibly the tranny) mounts ....

nice idea though

it would probably be REALLY expensive. But you'd have awesome bragging rights to see the look on the FURD and CHebbie guys faces when you blow past em in a 2nd gen Ram w/ a hemi in it would definately be worth it i think

cool idea...everyone here, including my wife, thinks i am crazy for wanting to put a viper v10 in my 2001 1500 QC. but i want to be the first in south texas with it done. any info on a swap like the one i want would be really appreciated.
