2004 Dodge Ram Heater Blower Motor Problem

just in the past couple weeks when running the a/c in my truck i have noticed that the vent blower motor starts to slow down in terms of air flow even when set on max, then stops blowing air completely, its very random when it happens. If i the truck sits for an undetermined amount of time (usually to run into the grocery store) i come back out start it up and its fine. However it has started to happen more frequently now, i have no idea where to even begin. is it the blower motor? the dash controls for the motor? looks for suggestions please

Sounds like the motor is dying. There's no reason for it to "slow down".

I doubt that would make a motor "slow down", as you describe it.

something else that is happening is that the a/c will randomly turn on as well, even if the blower isnt turned on. i can hear the compressor kick on and the a/c light comes on as well
