one day you people will understand the 15 minute job of WD-40 and a plastic knife or spatula for letter and black adhesive removal, and 3m adhesive remover for sticky clear...

Ford lists theirs on the F150 decal (if its a 5.4). The Chevy Vortec Max is also listed on the front doors. But I like your thinking about the 3.7 V6

thats a long ass time :S i helped my brother take off the subaru badge on the back of his car, he used a hair dryer for like 10 seconds on medium blowin about 8 inches away from the badge, and then used the fishing line to pull them off. the sticky residue came off just by rubbing with a finger... maybe japaneese cars use cheaper glue to put the badges on hehe :p

oh! i forgot to say, it only took like 5 minutes, done on the shade, in the garage

Yeah, these are completely different than the ones you described. There are two sets of adhesives - black stuff holding the letters on, and a clear adhesive holding the black stuff to the truck. It was hot outside and I parked the truck right in the sun, with Goo-B-Gone it took forever. With 3M Adhesive remover, it took 15 minutes per side.

Okay, I've made the decision to remove the Hemi decals!!

That's what I used to pull the badges off my old '02 Ram.... and the tailgate badges were harder than the doors on my truck for some reason.... some of the paint came off with one of the badges! The truck was three and a half years old when I did this, and I had to use a lot of compound and wax on the spots where the badges had been to get rid of the ghosting. It was a full day project. On a brand new vehicle, yeah it might take a few minutes, but not on an older and dark-colored truck like I had.
