ahh too true Rubberfrog for me 4.56 gears would kick arse cause i live in a very hilly part of canada (near the rocky mountains)

but i could still see mpg increasing with 4.56 regardless of terrain because your engine has to work less.

and like iv seen before, mpg is more determined by engine load then rpms. (someone said that on here not me)

and i agree. i took a trip to edmonton from calgary (350 km) and took it out of 5th, so i was riding in 4th and my mpg DID NOT CHANGE. and this wasnt empty and i had 500 pounds in the bed for the entire trip.

i didnt downshift ONCE on my trip.

meh its just what i noticed

I ordered one from Moes. The cheapest I could find it locally was $550! It was considerably cheaper from Moes, even with shipping and exchange.

We get screwed big time up here!

wecome to the site, and congrats on your truck,i live in the pennsylvania hills and have a 2500 series 4x4 quad cab long bed, with a 5.7 hemi, with 410 gears,i have to say it pulls my 5000 lb camping trailer very nicely ,and its a heavy truck,it pulls the hills and mountians pretty good, but then again i just upgreaded from a chevy pickup, with a 4.8,so there is alot of difference,i dont know what the gears were in the chevy, but the 4.8 didnt have enough stuff for the hills around here ,pulling the camper was very hard on it,john

Towing the trailer with the quad in the bed seems pretty easy. I use a stabalizer hitch and airbags, so it fairly smooth.
Hmm, not sure what the gears are on the TRX4's, but the 4.56's would help towing, but defo kill the all around mileage. Personally I think you'll be just fine!

Update!

Well, I should have my Superchip either this week or early next week. I've also ordered the exhaust below. Should be able to install it this weekend.

Seems like this is a good one to go with. Good choice? Will I run into any issues with the install?

This site is evil, in a good way.

Thanks guys!

PS I'll take some pics of the install.
